Actually it's not, but when I check it with command-I, it says zeroKB. Same is true of /Apps and /Library. I really would like to know how much the system requires.

command+i took forever to "calculate size..." but mine is 657.9 MB

My System folder is "Zero KB on Disk" but my application folder is 2.28gig...
Looks like a bug too me...can anyone confirm this is fixed in Jaguar?

It's definitely a bug. Close the folder and the info window, then re-open the HD folder, click on System or Library, and it will calculate the size correctly. Repeat as necessary.
