So this windows thing Ive been experiencing, annoying the heck out of me. Im on spring break this week, so naturally Ive spent a majority of the week working because I dont have the money to spend on a vacation (saving up for a 12 pb!). I have to use windows at work, no big deal, but just recently I became insanely annoyed. I work for the university and we make campus tours and look people up in the directory online, so I was thinking of how convenient it could be to have the urls in the dock while Im checking scores or just checking out macnn or whatever. Im also looking for somewhere to put 2 excel spreadsheets we use that is accessible also. Somewhere better than the desktop, something dock-like. So I was thinking it wouldnt be too hard to do in windows and then everyone else that uses this computer could figure it out too. Well, I can place the urls in the start menu with a label, but I only place 2. I thought it would be great to have the spreadsheets there too. The start menu in XP is such a waste of space, you cannot customize it anyway you want too, it is such a waste of space. So getting that off my chest I love tourney time. 12-4 after day 1, looking good today. Cant wait to see Kentucky, Pitt, Duke and UConn in San Antonio and watching the Huskies take care of business.
Thanks for reading my griping.

There is a haxie for Windows to have a "dock", my brother-in-law has a sony laptop with it. Though it is cheesy, it does work, and I'm certain you could put anything in it.... folders, URLs, etc.
I am not sure if this is the only one, but I did a quick search on Google:
http://www.stardock.com/products/objectdock/
I haven't used XP for a while but I do think you can right-click anything and add it to the start menu...
