I recently ordered a 21.5" imac, with the 3.33 upgrade.
To my surprise I was given a delivery time of three weeks!
No reason given, or a possible delivery date yet.
Could it mean that an upgrade is due?
or does the faster processor take that much longer?
I hope that it is an upgrade...http://forums.macnn.com/images/smilies/hmmm.gif

BTO always takes longer - they build your specific machine and ship it from China. 3 weeks is high, but not absurdly so. The iMac is about due for an update, but as far as I can see, there has only been a single Mac update in the month of July in the ten years I bothered checking. My guess is that the earliest we'll see something is mid-August.
The new Mac Pro has up to 30 MB of cache inside the processor itself. That's more than the HD in my first Mac. Somehow I'm still running out of space.
