Is there one? I've tried searching for video splitter at versiontracker, no avail. I could do it manually in quicktime pro, but that's a pain in the ass. Is there a program for this, anywhere? There should be.

I used to use SplitMe to segment DIVX files--it has been discontinued but the functionality has been rolled into D-Vision. It's a little rough around the edges and I think only handles .avi files, but it might get the job done.

You can try mpgtx GUI mpeg editor . You don't mention if your video files are MPEG or not, but if they are this will do the job for you, I think.

It's a big 8.89 gig .mov file, full DV quality settings export on quicktime from imovie.
Anything work with it? Or do I have to do it by hand?

Just out of curiosity, did you try either of the 2 apps that have been suggested? I'm curious to know if either of them work.
