I have a dual layer dvd-RW drive in my PC

is it compatible with a powermac g3 (blue&white)? as I'd like to use it on there

It needs to be a model with EIDE (ATA-3) interface, which brand is it?. Pioneer is a safe bet.

It will work as a ROM. Need make & model to know if it will burn. Toast will probably be fine with it.
I have plenty of more important things to do, if only I could bring myself to do them....

It'll probably work fine in OS X, but you'll most likely need Toast and their Toast CD Reader extension to get any use out of it in Classic.

Pioneer DVR-111D should work under OS X out of the box.
