hi there

I have a powermac g3 (blue & white) with an unusually large 128mb graphics card.

I can tell the driver isn't installed for the graphics card as there is jitter/lag when moving windows etc.

In Apple System profiler it says the card is a 'IMS, tt128mb - Card vendor : 10e0

any idea what make and model this card is so can get a driver installed?

That model came with a rage 128 card (old ati), but all drivers should have come with the os.

That's a IMS Twin Turbo 128. These drivers might work… Twin Turbo 128 is listed there,

I have downloaded the 'most recent' Twin Turbo installer listed, v.4.06. Needless to say it is only for Classic. Here is what the installer says:

Notes on TwinTurbo™ Software 4.06:
1. Fixed PostScript font problems in FileMaker Pro, Netscape Navigator 4.0.x, Claris Emailer and Mac OS8.5 desktop.
2. Fixed Remote Access control strip button.

Notes on TwinTurbo™ Software 4.05:
• QT acceleration has been added. (Note that QT acceleration is turned off anytime the playback window is clipped)

This version fixes the following bugs:
1. Mini-Cad Viewing objects in Orthogonal View no longer causes artifacts to appear on the screen.
2. Quark Xpress Performing Step and Repeat function.
3. Running a TT128 M8 without a monitor attached will no longer crash the system.
4. Macromedia DreamWeaver Cursor no longer disappears. (Note, should also fix Microsoft Exchange problem).
5. Microsoft Word: Bounding boxes no longer lose their handles.
6. Kaleidescope no longer has text spacing problems.

Bugs Remaining:
1. Infini-D Sample palettes are drawn incorrectly.
2. M2 board, a residue sometimes appears from dialog boxes at 832x624 resolution.
3. Strata Studio Pro: Distortion, (one or two dropped pixels) appears on tools.
4. Adobe Illustrator: Distortion (one or two dropped pixels) sometimes appear on about box.

Notes on TwinTurbo™ Software 4.0.2:
This version fixes the following bugs:
1. FileMaker Pro text problem.
2. CorelDraw6 text problem
3. BBEdit text problem

Notes on TwinTurbo™ Software 4.0:
This version significantly improves the acceleration over 3.8. It also fixes the QuickTime acceleration problem that shows up on recording.

Notes on TwinTurbo™ Software 3.8:
This version fixes the Umlaut-A problem. The character was not showing up in previous version. It also fixes the background repaint problem that somtimes appears in M2 boards.
