Finally, I can post a screenshot of my desktop.
The menubar apps are (from left to right):
CheckOff, PTHitunes Notifier, MenuMeter, WeatherPop, and of course battery and volume level. Oh, also, the date & time have been altered thanks to wClock.
EDIT: In case you're wondering, here is the wallpaper

Another day, another snap. I really like this desktop. Its an editted skysalad pic from teknoel.com.
[full size]
I also noticed Adam Betts' snap on ResEx, I liked that stained-glass window Zelda desktop!
EmoCon is a really nice set, and the Michael Moore (no relation to the film maker) site with the icons looks great. Thanks for that link.

The link is not the direct link to your image.
Try right-clicking your image and open it in a new window. Paste that URL between the image tags.

Yeha I did that, I think it is just that Yahoo Photos prevents you to link from the outside. I am not sure. Thanks guys.

How did you replace the App Name to App Icon in the menubar? Are you using ASM?

The desktop is from www.xanthic.net. There are a lot of pretty damn nice looking images there to use. I love OS X's Desktop Picture changing feature. Now I no longer have to choose one!
DragThing accounts for the tabs on the right, the HD's above the Dock and the 8 text labels at the bottom.
The rest is Konfabulator. All are my Widgets. Or modified versions of other peoples. This link will tell all.
Link: http://www.deskmod.com/?show=showskin&skin_id=27595
Don't know what a Widget is? You're stuck in 2002! www.konfabulator.com will help bring you into the future.

I've been debating purchasing Fruitmenu. I already own LabelsX and WindowShadeX and use a bunch of other Unsane Haxies. But I have no real need for FruitMenu but I do like the contextual menu stuff. I have to keep thinking about it.

Sorry, you said Menu Bar.
If you meant the Dock, one way to change it is CandyBar.

Oh, THAT icon. Why didn't you be more specific?
Well.. The only way I can think of is if you have Root access, you change the icon of the "Finder.app" icon on the file itself. But I have not tested this so I can not confirm if it is possible. Don't think it would be hard coded though. It has to be possible in some way.
How did ya?

I actually did just that and it worked beautifully and easily.
Sorry for the confusion. My fault. Im not computer-talk savy.

<--Begin Rant !-->
Who needs fruitmenu when there's Snard! It does the same thing as fruit menu and more. Much more. You can even open apps in the GUI as root. And it's completely free with no nags.
Alot of you have Konfab widgets on your desktop, but I found that mostly they just duplicate what Apple or other menubar software already can do.
<--End Rant !-->

ViO - agreed! I only use the free stuff from fruit menu and use QuickAccess. I had too many problems with fruitmenu.

Ok, what program are you guys using to get the dock to be put in a corner like that? I have been looking for something like this for a while.
I am refering to the dock not being centered, I would like to have the dock in the right lower corner starting at the right edge, not centered.
Thanks
