Do people use this word (in the "flame war" context) anymore?

I just heard someone use it, and it sounded... quaint.

If you had asked me 10 years ago if I thought the term "flame" would fall out of fashion, that would have been an obvious "no". It's not like flames are going to disappear from the Internet.

Well, they haven't. Just the word. Langamuage is innersting.
