Do any of you designers out there have a recommendation for an OS X native preflight app? We've been using Markzware's Flightcheck but we're getting ready to make the move to OS X at the beginning of our fiscal year and Flightcheck 5 isn't ready yet.

Does anyone have any recommendations for a pre-flight app? Or any insight into when FC will be ready?

TIA.

You could focus more on a pdf workflow - Acrobat 6 has very good preflight functions and Pitstop 6 is just out.

Flightcheck is still the best though, and the OS X version looks worth it, with open type and pdf/x support...
Always on the run...

Thanks for the suggestion. We've discussed that as an option, and it's quite valid for what we produce, but we also want to look Flightcheck if it's going to be out soon. And according to an e-mail from the company yesterday when I asked, they said 'end of month'. Better than Panther's 'end of year' I suppose.
