Ever wish you could get updated versions of the fruity iMacs and iBooks that were out?
Now I'm not saying that I don't love my MacBook Pro, I do, I just ... sometimes wish it was a little more fun, a little more ... oh I don't know, maybe a little more Blueberry? Or Tangerine? Or Keylime. I realize that Apple's moved a little more to the upscale side of things, and they're not interested in making curvy fun products so much as they are sleep sexy and minimalist stuff. But I kinda wish that they'd come out with a line of retro-Apple devices.
Or at least that they'd' make something that could be effectively modded into the old cases.
Heck even an iMac like the Sunflower iMac would be pretty freaking cool to own.

Let's face it, that's what you're getting at, no?

Why is it that bright colors threaten masculinity for some anyway?

Big hair and spandex tights need counter-balancing.

What I want to know is whether the whole penis pump thing in the 90s that was a part of the rock scene and pop culture in general along with cucumbers down the pants was just an American thing, or whether it was the rage in Europe too?

Yes Doofy, anything bright and fun is gay. Probably explains why you're so dim and boring.

I'll refer you to the original Austin Powers where the penis-pump was repeatedly stated to be swedish made.

You're not American, are you?
If you were you'd know that a great many Americans in the 90s were into penis pumping, just ask around. I guess senior citizens weren't into it, but most guys were. They'd also put cucumbers down their pants, especially rock stars.

I know, but they exported them all to America. I don't think they ever really caught on there, or did they?

The cucumber down the pants for rock stars dates back to at least Spinal Tap.

I know, but what the rock stars were doing back then became pretty mainstream in the 90s in America.

Just an Amerikan thing. Our wedding tackle over here is large enough without needed enhancement.

gay |gā|
adjective ( gayer , gayest )
1 (of a person, esp. a man) homosexual : that friend of yours, is he gay?
• relating to or used by homosexuals : feminist, black, and gay perspectives.
2 lighthearted and carefree : Nan had a gay disposition and a very pretty face.
• characterized by cheerfulness or pleasure : we had a gay old time.
• brightly colored; showy; brilliant : a gay profusion of purple and pink
Now STFU you uneducated buffoon.

Really? A personal attack?
I'll have you know that I'm exciting and lovely! Even Bess thinks so! So I beg to differ, your flamboyant rotundness!

Well, it's happened. I guess it was inevitable.
I agree with you. I miss the colors and translucency. I wish I could update my Strawberry iMac and my Blueberry iBook to run with current technology (and my Pismo, too, for that matter). I watched some of the intro footage for some of the older products and started to remember how freaking awesome they were.
I even miss the Hockey Puck. [Or, I'd put up with the Hockey Puck if I had to, just as long as I could run a cool-as-Hell iMac.]
There, I've said it. Be loud, be proud!
