Murder, as described through social networking:

Shots fired at Eaton Centre, told through social media - The Globe and Mail

Brian Tien Trinh, an intern at the Huffington Post, also says he was nearby:

Loud pops heard at the Eaton Centre. Man on the floor in lower food court. Red fluid visible

I'm counting at least six bullet casing on the floor.

One dead after food-court shooting at Toronto's Eaton Centre - The Globe and Mail

Toronto police have finished searching the Eaton Centre and are now combing through surveillance tape of a shooting that killed a 25-year-old man and left several others injured Saturday evening.

Among those hurt is a 13-year-old boy who got sent to hospital in critical condition, a 20-year-old man also with life-threatening injuries and a pregnant woman who was knocked down in the chaos and went into labour, according to Toronto Police Constable Victor Kwong.

Two other women and one other man are seriously hurt.

No arrests have been made.

Ir you want evidence about how strange Toronto is, last night was a good example:

The mayor, a moronic twit on the best of days, showed up at the scene and gave a brief but sincere statement. On the other hand, the police chief showed up and blabbed to the media non-stop for about 35 mins, spewing platitudes and nonsense like a beauty pageant contestant buzzed on Adderal; it was extremely undignified.

Toronto, the second most bizarre city in the world next to Vancouver.
