Hi all,
Sorry if this is one of those "duh" questions, but I'm in need of a new SATA drive, and this looks like a good deal. Here's the link...

I have a 2.0ghz G5 running OS 10.4.11, my current 250gb Seagate is dying on me . For $60, this seems like a good deal. I need to purchase one quickly, so if all you smart people can give me a thumbs up or down, I'd appreciate it.

Thumb up. At that price, I would seriously consider getting two. You don't always get advance warning before a hard drive dies!

That's the kind of reply I like to see! Thank you! I just might buy two now that you mention it

I don't see it as a great deal ($3 less than the normal street price), but it will work.

It's actually a pretty average price. I've seen 1 TB drives in the $80-$90 range recently.
