Probably the best places to get the outside Japan would be either ebay or Welcome to JBOX.com. I always give them as birthday gifts to my friends in Japan.

Oh man, she's actually in the bay area this weekend. If I had thought ahead I could have told her to bring her Domokun and taken a picture of it at Apple campus...
