Hi all, I've got a 23-inch Apple Display(new model) in mint condition that I'm looking to sell. Screen has no dead pixels, not a smudge or scratch anywhere on the display. I've used it off and on for a few weeks, but feel it's probably more than I really need in screen real estate. Thus, my change of heart is your gain. If your looking for a brand new display, then this is it.

I'm asking $1800 for this beautiful display and free ground shipping to anywhere in the continental us (48 states). I think that would be fair and reasonable. This would be $200 off retail price, no $25-50 shipping charge, and you'll also save $100-150 in taxes. A savings to you of around $400!

let me know if your interested and we can make arrangements.

Thanks for reading,

Nick

With recent price drops, I guess I need to drop mine (bad timing, I guess).

Is $1600 shipped reasonable?
let me know.

Any far off chance you might take 1400 shipped, as the education price that some of us can get is 1599.

Man, I don't know if I could do that. Shipping will be $50.00 at least. I unfortunately do not have access to the edu discount. If you do, then you should go that route I guess. This thing retails for $1800, plus shipping and tax. your asking for basically $1350, plus $50 shipping. That's a big gap for an item that is mint condition and only a few weeks old. I've seen the older styles that are 2 years old going for $1200.

Am I off in my logic here? Thanks alot for your interest nonetheless, but I'm sorry, but I don't think I could do $1400 shipped. That would be too big of a loss.

No youre right, Id be willing to do 1450 and split shipping at most. But youre right, I was just trying to lowball ya to see if youd go for it.

But like I said, I would do 1450 plus split shipping if youd like, otherwise I perfectly understand and youre not off your logic one bit.

is there anything wrong with the dell monitor? i was thinking of getting the dell widescreen lcd since it's alot cheaper than the apple monitor.

I love my Dell's. They lack the style of the Apple LCD, but the quality is just as good. I own a 2001FP and love it, and my 2005FPW (the new widescreen model) arrived today (haven't got home yet).

Good price on this 23" though, good luck!

sfdh66787, thanks again for your offer, although I think I'm going to keep pretty firm at $1600. $1450 is still a $150 difference and I'm already taking a $400+ hit at the 1600 price for something that is only a few weeks old.

I guess I'm looking to help out someone who doesn't get the edu discount, like myself. With tax, my asking price would save them at least $300 and they'd still get what is basically a brand new monitor.

Perfectly alright, it was worth the offer though. Let me know if you change your mind, I could have the cold hard cash to you very quickly.
