We have put together a slide show of photos and have added a soundtrack of songs that go with the slides. We want to sync some of the photos with the lyrics in the songs. We've been able to do that before putting in the transitions, but as soon as the transitions go in, the photos are out of sync with the music. But we can't move the photos around once the transitions are in place. Have we overlooked something?
Note: We are using a PB G4 with Tiger, iMovie 05.
Edit: We found a work-around to this problem. Apparently the "Cross Dissolve" transitions we were using take up actual time in the program, whereas the "Overlap" transitions do not. We used "Overlap" and the final product matches fine. Thanks to Karl Petersen on the Mac Discussions board for his description of all this:
