(no, this is not the Monkey Island Liberation Front)

Who here isn't a fan of the classic (oh yes) game? Well, just a heads-up, that for the next 48 hours at www.mupromo.com you can get the "new" version of the game GRATIS. Scroll down to the bottom of the page.

You'll have to give an email address. That's all, and Monkey Island is your's. For free.

(and for those who don't consider it free because you have to provide *an* email address, think about it. or not.)

I could take Sean Connery in a fight... I could definitely take him.

Is this different than the one in the Mac App Store (which I already bought)?

Free, but I was convinced to buy the bundle! And I had to dig out my login.

I was going to buy the bundle anyway, and this was a nice bonus. This makes it the third time I've bought Civ IV - once the original, once on a steam sale bundle with all the expansion packs and now.

Just be aware the bundle is slightly sneaky: You get a 6 month membership in MacUpdate included in the bundle price, and by default it is set to auto-renew at $20/year.
The new Mac Pro has up to 30 MB of cache inside the processor itself. That's more than the HD in my first Mac. Somehow I'm still running out of space.
