The help menu in Jaguar seems to just hang the whole time. I was wondering if this might be because I chose to upgrade rather than do a fresh install? Anyone else finding it less than helpful? I thought the idea was to see the magic rainbow twirly thing less in Jaguar!

Yes, Help sucks. I upgraded as well. I guess it gets its info from apple, and takes for ever to do so. Its crashed more times than it has helped. really sad and pathetic. they should have made it so you get a default help files on install, and then have options to update the help files at a certain time or as needed.

maybe 10.2.1 fixes this.

Yes, hopefully Apple will release a 10.2.1 patch very soon after Jaguar's launch. Not a good message to send to 'switchers' if they're not used to a mac they'll want to use the help menu surely?

I just wanted to check out the new features so it doesn't bother me that much.
