I recently converted my 2 year old iMac into a Fusion drive by adding a 250 GB SSD. My performance has improved dramatically but I am concerned about the temperature of different components. Can anyone directly me to where I could find the temperatures that I should be aware off. Or simply more information on what I should be looking for.
Thanks

You can review the current temperatures with the application here:

(and honestly with any of a multitude of free apps, I just happen to like that one). Mostly chips don't get damaged by high temps anymore - they just slow down or shut down if they get too hot to avoid damage - but it does shorten the lifetime of some things. Generally an HDD should be kept below 60C (Seagate FAQ), PSUs at more or less the same temp. CPUs will throttle before the get damaged. The temp at which they throttle is different for each model, but you can look it up here:

ARK | Your Source for Intel® Product Specifications

GPUs are more finicky, as both AMD and nVidia have had heat-related failures in the past, but these days they should also throttle safely
The new Mac Pro has up to 30 MB of cache inside the processor itself. That's more than the HD in my first Mac. Somehow I'm still running out of space.
