I've got a difficult problem with a Lombard PowerBook. Basically, it powers up and shuts down right away. I've tried it with 2 different adapters and with/without battery. I've also reset the Power Manager on it. Doesn't turn on at all if no adapter is plugged in.

To sum up, when I plug in the power adapter, the computer starts to power up and then immediately shuts off, then repeats until it is unplugged.

Any ideas?

Sounds like your power board is shot. Nothing you can do except get a new power board.
