Mine arrived this morning. My first firewire periphereal! I can't believe how fast firewire is! This thign is amazing! It puts my old RCA Lyra to shame! :]

Got mine on Saturday at a Frys in Phoenix. Was there 20 minutes after the place opened, they had already sold 3 of them. I was on vacation there and didn't open it until I got home Sunday nite. For the flight home, it was in my carryon knapsack always within my sight. Good thing, the airline lost my checked luggage. Spent an hour at the airport as they tried to trace my stuff, they had no clue where it was. No problem, I knew they would find it and I had the only bag I really cared about. The other stuff show up last night.

Got mine on Day 1 from the Apple Store in Woodfield... Was the first to make their purchase at the Genius Bar (if that means anything)..

I love it, but don't use the headphones that were included... Typical on a portable audio device for me... Don't have fancy headphones or anything, but my big Koss headphones and my foldable Sony sport headphones seem to work better for me (could be I don't like the buds in my ear as well)...

Got mine last Friday(11/09/01)and love it.
I figured out how to get the back off yesterday and today beadblasted the metal back.It looks real nice "frosted" and doesn't attract fingerprints so bad. Will post a pic in a day or two, at work with no access to iDisk, no time tonite either.

Got mine sat. and love it! I listen to it on the bus going to work, plug in to my computer and listen over the speakers at work, take it to lunch, and listen to it on the bus going back to my car, then if there's all commercials, plug it in in the car. This must explain why my battery is out!!

I got mine tonight at CompUSA here in Vegas, along with my wintel friend purchasing an Intel Pocket Concert. I must chuckle at the simplicity of this thing, he had to do firmware updates, and Windows XP did not have the drivers for it, so he had to go hunt and download them before it would work!

Hello,

I got mine at CompUSA in Chicago on Sat. I got there at 8:50 AM. I was the first one there and the first customer in the store. I was the first one with my hands on the box there but I was waiting for my mom to come up the escalator so I was the second sale. When I left there at 9:05(Because I had other stuff to do) there were only 4 left out of 8 I think.

Drove 1.5 hours on 11/10 for the Fashion Island Apple Store opening. Was part of the 1st batch of people in the store. The iPd was purchased(birthday gift from 2 wonderful friends) and I was outside the store downloading music from my iBook SE.

Love this little thing...already sold my Rio to a coworker who is regretting it as I type. I think he is 6 months away from buying his first Apple computer.
