It's probably nothing major, but hey, we can hope.
The new Mac Pro has up to 30 MB of cache inside the processor itself. That's more than the HD in my first Mac. Somehow I'm still running out of space.

There is a new iPhone, with the cool new feature of being red. Looks spiffy, actually.

There is a new low-end 10" iPad, which appears to be an iPad Air 2 but with an A9 (not A9X like the iPad Pro), but the new hotness is that it is actually cheaper at $330. That's nice. It replaces the iPad mini 2 as the new low-end iPad.

(While it is not actually CALLED iPad Air 3, it is one in practice. So I was wrong on that. Mea culpa).

The iPad mini gets 128GB storage by default, but for some reason keeps the A8 and a price higher than the new iPad 9.7".

The iPad Pro still has 32GB storage by default, despite being almost twice the price of the new low-end iPad.

The iPhone SE gets 128GB storage in the updated version, but the upcost for getting that goes up to $100 again, so it is arguably a price increase.

It seems Apple cut some corners on the new low-end iPad. Screen is not laminated anymore, there is no anti-glare, and it is a bit thicker than the Air 2.

I love that they put out an (pretty nice) iPad focused on price, but are they killing the iPad Mini?

Unless you REALLY REALLY want the smaller size, who would want to pay $399 for an iPad Mini compared to this new cheaper iPad?

Why does the Mini only come in 128 gigs? It's weird...

My sig is 1 pixel too big.

I never really got why the mini had to be cheaper once it got Retina, but that it is still A8 is strange.

I haven't gotten an iPad since the iPad 3. I don't really feel like I need one anymore. Maybe this is a way of attracting people back to it? I'm not spending stupid money on an iPad anymore when I use it very little.

I think part of it is Chromebook competition for schools, and part of it is getting people who are on an old iPad 2 to upgrade and stay in the ecosystem.

Great price for a 9.7'' iPad. I would buy one if in the market (not currently).

Funny that the 9.7'' iPad is now cheaper than the iPad mini.
