Has anyone who had to refile paperwork (which consisted, at least in my case, with checking a box, signing the form and mailing it back in) received their $50 credit codes in the ipod settlement yet? I think mine went in about a month ago.

Just wondering...

Yep, haven't heard back yet either. Sent mine out about when you did.

I had to refile. Screwed both of them up. No word.

It's now August (almost September). Has anyone gotten their settlement yet?

I was going to resurrect this question the other day -- glad someone beat me to it.

I have not yet gotten anything either. In fact, I was going to dig out the name of the law firm and send yet ANOTHER e-mail to it, asking when we might finally expect our $50 coupons/whatever.

Personally, I think this is ridiculous. Apple is really dragging its feet on this.

Some info from the web site:
FIRST -- on the home page:
Update August 16, 2006

Claims Fulfillment Continues
The Settlement is final. Many claims have been fulfilled and other claims are still being processed. Please see the Important Dates and Information page for further details.

Deadlines relating to claim submissions have not changed. Per the deadlines identified by the Settlement, all deadlines have been reached and no new claims are being accepted. For covered Generation 3 iPods, the last accepted postmark for Claim Form submissions was May 30, 2006. The postmark deadline for submitting Generation 1 and Generation 2 iPod claims was September 30, 2005.

Then -- for people who had to refile:

Gen 1/2 and Gen 3 Store Credit claims

Fulfillment of approved claims for the $50 Store Credit began on April 7, 2006.

A Discount Code number and Instructions were mailed to Claimants whose submissions were valid and complete. Processing of Deficient Claim re-submissions is occuring. Benefits will be distributed within the next 120 days to those claimants who have corrected their defined deficiency.

Discount codews should have been mailed to re-filers by Aug. 7 or so, by my math.

My initial paperwork was screwed up too, and I haven't heard back.

Sounds like we can expect something by January 15th though... (i.e. w/in 120 days of August 16)

Me, too :) Couldn't be a better time, either... I'm eyeballing a 24" iMac!

I was eyeing a Pro (to replace my 2000 gigabit ethernet G4), but am mulling an imac as well. Trouble is, I got a Dell monitor last year (broke with Apple, I know, I know... price differential was just too great), so i don't really need a monitor. And I (obviously) keep my machines quite a while, so ...

In any case -- I got my code today (Monday, Sept. 18). I should go back and see when I filed the original stuff. This has taken an obscene amount of time.
