Hi,
I'm currently using an Epson Stylus Color 800 and I'm not too happy with it. The black and white text quality has gone from acceptable to terrible(despite cleaning the heads ect). That coupled with the fact that I can't print from OS X or Classic means that I have to reboot into OS 9 if I wanna print something. Anyhow, I'm really considering getting the HP Deskjet 842c. It's alot smaller than my epson and has native X drivers(and I would assume could print from classic too). Does anyone own this model or one similiar? What are your thoughts? I'm most interested in text quality(black) but I know most inkjet printers pale in comparison to lasers in that regard. However, using inkjet paper how is it? I can get the printer for 95 bucks so I think as long as it's not godawful I'm gonna get it. Thanks for any help!
