A few years ago, when my wife was in college, she purchased Adobe CS2 Premium. This is an Educational license, but it upgrades straight to a standard license. It can be upgraded via the Adobe store for $799, which is a considerable savings over the $1699 it would take to buy a new copy outright.

This package contains:

Adobe Photoshop
Adobe Illustrator
Adobe InDesign
Adobe GoLive
Adobe Acrobat
Version Cue
Adobe Bridge
Adobe Stock Photos service
Adobe Reader
100+ OpenType fonts

Neither me nor my wife need this software anymore, and have no plans on upgrading in the future.

Asking $225 OBO.

In this community, a lot of people already have a version of Creative Suite. I'm betting if you tried Craigslist (or maybe even eBay) you'd have a pretty quick sale! I see even the original CS listed in my town's Craigslist for what you're asking.

I haven't used it in about 2 1/2 years... so I have no personal experience. However, doing a quick Google search, all the reports I read from users indicate that it works just fine.
