OK, I dunno how many Roo fans there are but I thought I'd inform.

Bonnaroo is a 4-day music festival in Tennessee, 2nd Thurs in June through Sunday. During the four days, about 7 stages will host bands from noon to about 3am every day. That's a lot of music. It's fairly eclectic. Last year they had Bruce & E-Street co-headlining with Phish. They also had Beastie Boys, Snoop, and a number of other "big names." I tend to like the smaller up-and-coming bands that few ever heard of. They've got super-small regional groups all the way up to bands that sell out stadiums. My 2009 favs were Cage the Elephant, Crystal Castles, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Bruce, Phoenix, Portugal The Man, Dillinger Escape Plan, and American Princes.

Typically 80,000 or more people show up. Most camp in tents, others have RV's. A rare bunch commute every day and night from nearby hotels. It is in all respects a small city. The food is good and reasonably priced, they have great beer, and it's an extremely low-stress environment. It's also the closest thing I've seen to a legalized drug zone. It's a very laid back atmosphere and the bands almost always pour their souls into the thing.

Past year schedules (note there are links for year, day, and stage)

Yes, but then I might not have had the opportunity to silently mock your anal retentive nature, tenuous grasp of logic, or poor grammar.

They've had tool in the past, and they may have it again -- a lot of people are asking for their return.

Tool+Live=Lame

They've been playing the EXACT same setlist for a few tours now. Plus Maynard just stands there and there are no theatrics. I will give it to them that they sounds good but that is it.

**** that, you've lost your mind. The Lateralus tour shows were some of the best live performances in the history rock music. They're even better if you understand the ceremony behind what they were actually doing.
