Here's an editor's pick of various ultraportables from Fujitsu, Sony, LG, and and BenQ; however, none of Fujitsu, Sony, LG, or BenQ's offers accomodate eductation discounts for students in grade school.

MacNN Marketplace...

is *not* offering discounts to grade school students.

Not even those having sex with their teachers.

Are we going to put up with this?

I think the only nice looking PC notebooks are SOME of Sony's models.

But Sony doesn't offer education discounts to students in grade school.

Or martial arts student discounts, for that matter.

Just making sure Cody doesn't buy a computer from a company that steals money from little kids who work really hard.

The discounts Apple offers on hardware is pretty pathetic anyway.

I'd still go with a ThinkPad. Sonys are overpriced for what you get. I have a T40 through work, and it's pretty good as far as these things go. The port replicator/dock is super handy.
