I did as well.

In keeping with my 'good' character I originally had freeing the slaves and siding with Wehrner in mind.

but

I'm going to re-do the storyline again with my Evil character (who now has that sweet Stealth Suit from Operation Anchorage) and choose the opposite mission.

Before that (and getting the remaining 50 or so Ingots I need) I'm going to round out the achievements I have left for the main game. Levels 8 and 14 with Neutral Karma and 50 Speech successes.

Really the only thing I have no idea how to accomplish is the speech successes.

I got the 50 terminals right away. Then again I put off the main quests a reeeaaal long time and did tons of exploring.

BTW, if you haven't gotten it yet, the BH for Small Guns in the National Guard Depot is completely impossible to find without a video walkthrough.

At first I thought getting all 100 ingots was going to be a real grind, but I'm already at 76 without any help.

It should also be noted that a sneaky Trog getting the drop on me forced a muted scream and a drop of my controller. F3 isn't necessarily a scary game but it isn't without its' moments.

I'm putting that off till i finish up my other achivements, I just grabbed my 16th bobblehead and got my last two level 14 achivements, I'm on my way to grab Fawkes and the G.E.C.K. I find myself doing different/new things on my second play through, saving the kids at paradise falls was a much calmer adventure than last time (when i went on a rampage with a shotty.)

I only have 8 more ingots and then about 15 speech successes and Fallout 3 will be my first 100% Achievement game.

More The Pitt pictures...

I'm not sure I understand, all were photos of my CRT screen, which would explain the overall crappiness.

You'd need a 1GB SD card in the Wii just for Fallout 3's DLC, not to mention I currently have 170+ savegames.

Right, I got that. I was just wondering why you weren't taking actual screenshots from the machine, instead of taking a picture of the screen.

Most console games don't support this?

And don't you dare bring up capture cards, even less people have that.

Speaking of capture cards, I just placed an order for this one.

The Halo 3 thread is going to see a huge increase in teabagging videos.

Screen grabs SHOULD be more common, especially since Halo 3s implementation is nothing short of genius. Sadly, without the PC version of Fallout 3 those CRT photos are all you get.

I doubt the Wii would even allow such an enormous amount of saves, if it could even look at a massive outdoor game like Fallout 3 without bursting into flames.

Really? And the 360 doesn't have a universal screen capture tool? I always thought it had... Seems so easy to add a small button to the controller to take a snapshot.

I wish more games (PC games too) had a system like Halo 3 for reviewing recorded matches to get the good screenshots you couldn't get when you were bashing heads and sniping fools.

Oh so you were talking about having 170+ save games on Fallout 3? Still crazy.

Yep, and at an average of 6MB per save that gives me over a gigabyte of saves for a single game, not to mention the gigabyte of DLC content. That's 2GB alone for a single game. In total I have a hair over 13GB of data on my 360, most of that is saves, DLC, and other assorted game data. I don't keep any media on it.

As for Halo 3 I have three DLC map packs, the kicker is that each new game type, forged map, screenshot, video clip, etc takes up extra space on the HDD. The HDD was smart during the original xbox years, and it's still smart.

I guess I was just assuming seeing how PC's have had the print screen key for forever and have had apps that'll do the same and better for years.

What about games? I know the new Dashboard update gave you guys the ability to install games. Is that at all worth it?

And I feel your pain. I got a 500GB HDD for my PC thinking that would be enough (because I only use it for gaming) but still managed to fill it up at a shockingly quick rate.

Quality collection. It's just that consoles haven't been anything like PCs until just very recently. I find your expectations a little off, but maybe you're just an optimist.

I didn't bother, not only does it take up more space than I want to part with, you have to put the disc in anyways to play.

I have Portal: Still Alive, Contra, Duke Nukem 3D, Braid and a few others. Those are the only games that occupy my HDD.

Worth it is a strong sentiment. Its an added bonus more than a feature. I think I have Gears, Burnout and L4D all installed.

Still need the disc huh? Bummer.

Oh, Braid came out for the PC recently. Is it that good that I should get it?

Precisely.

The caveat is, when you're playing online, that does you no real good when you have to wait for other players maps to load as well.

I install any game I expect to play regularly to the HDD. Yes, the disc still has to be inserted but it doesn't have to spin up at all during the game which makes the console WAY quieter, which I really appreciate. My 360 also has issues with disc read errors when I have it in the upright position so before we could install games, every once in a while a game would lock up on me so I had to lay the console down horizontally which takes up way too much space for my setup - installing solves the issue.

Oh, and I just picked up F3 and am liking it, though I don't find it to be as great as the all the glowing reviews led me to think it would be.

Two new fun little tidbits of information...

Kotaku - New Fallout Announced - Fallout new london

IGN Advertisement

Also, does anyone know how to make the "Automatically retrieve titles from external links" option enable by default? I always have to go advanced and select it.

Seems like Matt Perry enjoys a bit of Fallout 3.

I got this game, but due to my XBox being connected to a PC monitor, I have no sound. I thought that I could get away with sub-titles only, but there are parts that demand replies to non-sub-titled events.

I am waiting for a small TV to be delivered, then I will enjoy Fallout 3 in its entirety.

The Fallout DLC may be coming out of the cracks, but at least its there. How many games promise DLC but never deliver? (I'm looking at you, Mass Effect and your one DLC only worth it because it was free.)

And I actually have yet to play any of the DLC's. I haven't played any video game in maybe a months time now. Partly because of a dead power supply, though thats fixed now, partly because of no time. It hurts though. Especially my 0 gamerscore. That will change though, I promise. And if you guys who added me (thanks for that, by the way) check my friends list for a Col Casey, thats my brothers tag and those are my games and mostly all my points.

I have been, for sure. I pretty much have only been sleeping when it's convenient, which may be a mistake down the road as I've probably burned through quite a few more stimpaks then I would have if I'd been keeping track of where the beds are around the city and making sure to sleep regularly.

I traveled during the night at first, but I ended up far preferring to move during the day.

Of course, having your own residence in the wasteland helps.

Just use the "wait" function (the "back" button on 360 aka "select") if possible, it makes life a lot easier
