What did you get on Black Friday?

So black friday is now officially over here. So, what did everyone manage to get? What was the best priced item you got, and how were the lines at the stores? See any crazy stuff happen (people pulling hair to get to the barbies, etc.)?
For me, I got the following:
WALMART
--------------------
Total time in the store (from walking in to walking out): 10 minutes
Total time in line waiting for sale to begin: 2 minutes
Loot: Bakugan Dragonoid Colossus, FurReal Kitten, Sorry! (board game), Pajamas for 3 kids, Pink DS Lite + 2 games (online), Blu-ray Player (online), 2 MP3 players (online)
TARGET
--------------------
Total time in the store (from walking in to walking out): 4 minutes
Total time in line waiting for sale to begin: 30 minutes freezing my butt off
Loot: Disney Princess Shimmer Doll Collection (7 barbie-sized disney "princess" dolls)
RADIO SHACK
--------------------
Total time in the store (from walking in to walking out): 5 minutes
Total time in line waiting for sale to begin: 0 minutes
Loot: 2 pairs of Skullcandy earphones
KMART
--------------------
Total time in the store (from walking in to walking out): 75 minutes
Total time in line waiting for sale to begin: 20 minutes freezing my butt off
Loot: Artificial Christmas Tree, Digital Camera (buy one, get one free)
STAPLES
--------------------
Total time in the store (from walking in to walking out): 15 minutes
Total time in line waiting for sale to begin: 0 minutes
Loot: 50 CDs, 100 DVDs, 40 batteries
WALGREENS
--------------------
Total time in the store (from walking in to walking out): 10 minutes
Total time in line waiting for sale to begin: 0 minutes
Loot: Paper Jamz Guitar, Noise Canceling Headphones
It was a busy morning! I was out at midnight at Walmart, then back home for a breather, and then out again at 3:15AM to head over to Target. I finished shopping just before 7AM. I think we're mostly done for xmas.
The best priced item (percentage-wise) I got was probably the Bakugan Dragonoid Colossus. It is $30+ *everywhere*, but someone at Walmart accidentally put a few of them in a display case marked $10 and the manager at Walmart gave it to me for that price when I pressed her for it. My kid has been repeatedly asking for this thing for quite a while, so it was awesome to get it so inexpensively.
Craziest thing I saw this morning was the line of people waiting for Target to open. It was insane. When we got into line (about 30 minutes early) the end of the line was a full block away from the entrance to the store. But, once we made it into to the store, we miraculously managed to get in, get our stuff, and out again in less than 5 minutes. Some people weren't as lucky though, and they were stuck in the checkout line for more than an hour waiting to checkout. I didn't see any fighting where I was, but apparently there was some hair pulling and knocking people down in Walmart where the Leapsters were being sold.
Crappiest experience this morning was at Kmart (no surprise). I got a ticket for the camera I wanted while I was in line waiting outside, but then I had to wait in the checkout line for more than an hour to purchase it once I was inside. They only had one person(!!!) doing the checkout stuff for the entire electronics department, and they wouldn't let you take any electronics out of the electronics area without buying it first (to go to the front checkout area, for example) if it cost more than $50. Guess what everyone was buying? Yep, electronics.
This year was WAY more crowded everywhere than it has been in the past. I think Walmart screwed everything up by putting most of their sale on at Midnight instead of waiting till 5 like normal. Everyone must have had an easier time staying awake until midnight than they normally have getting up at 4AM, I think.
Overall it was a successful shopping day. Will skip Kmart's electronics next year though.

So no Black Friday goers on here? That is very odd, considering that 50% of surveyed American's planned on shopping on black friday.

There's nothing I need that's worth getting up that early. Yesterday we slept in, relaxed, read books, finished washing up dishes, and basically stayed home out of the ruckus.

Yeah, it's a Mac forum though, isn't it? Not exactly full of people who'll go out of their way to save a buck (that'd be the Linux forums for that!).

I feel like most people think Black Friday is overhyped. They'd rather just order online than go through huge crowds to find out that From Paris With Love is sold out.

Was awakened by the wife in the shower at 2am. Continued to stay awake with my daughter in the shower at 2:45am. Fell asleep at approximately 3:30-4:00am. Awoke at 9am. Went out to Cracker Barrel for Breakfast with my sons. Complained about disrupted sleep. Purchased $41.99 in SUNOCO 89 for the RAV4 Sport. Went to the grocery store to purchase supplies for Pitt vs W. Virginia.
Returned home. Consumed unhealthy snacks watching the game.
Unloaded the Camry at 2:15p. Watched the wife and daughter pass out in the Den watching The Hallmark Channel.
Laughed Gregariously.

I ordered most of my things online. I just didn't see any deals great enough to get me out of my seat. If I was looking for a TV or a Blu Ray player I probably would have gone out, but that wasn't the case.

Maybe you'd get more rest if you slept in a bed rather than the shower...

I bought a 16 GB USB drive from Buy.com for $20. Don't really have a need for a lot of the junk being pushed. I will be in the market for furniture in the near future though.

Because the CAD$ is near par to the US$, the Canadian stores have started Black Friday deals to prevent customers from popping over the border to get the US deals.
So, after checking out 5 shops online with BF deals, I bought...
...nothing.
As mentioned by others, too much of the stuff for sale is just junk I don't need, regardless of the price.

We went to Sam's and got a box of baby wipes and some Goldfish crackers.
We also went to Target to pick up a prescription for my wife and we ended up buying some random crap.
Merry Christmas everyone!

We never left the neighborhood (unless you count the neighborhood across the road from ours, where my parents live).
I got some good deals off of Amazon, but I have an aversion to large, ill-mannered crowds, and I think the wife has started feeling the same way.
