I synchronized my new SonyEricsson k700i for the first time with my mac, just synchronized all my mac-data to the phone, so it cleared my data on the phone first.

Only, I'm anxious to do it again now, since a next sync will merge all data. I noticed that with the first sync data got lost on the phone, ie: my phone only supports one email-address per person, also the iCall data will be merged in one calendar on the phone.

So I'm a bit affraid that merging data between both devices next time will mean that I will lose data on my mac too. Am I righteously paranoid or not?

I sync with a K700 all the time and have never lost data. The contacts with 2 addresses will still ahve them on the Mac.
