Just a couple days ago, my computer started to shut itself off randomly. I was then told to reset the PMU and i did. Since then i haven't had any random shut down. Today i have noticed the my charging light changes from orange to green every 3-5 secs. My battery icon at the top right on the menu bar shows a batter with an electric thing in it. The time next to it randomly changes from (1:20) to (2:11). What does this mean? Is my bettery broke? any ideas?

What is your "computer" model?

One of my friend's iBook 1.2GHz had similar problem, he went to Apple Service Center and ended up getting a new logic board and a new battery.

its one of the first macbook pro's released. I took it to the apple store and they told me i needed a new battery. Funny thing is, they said they needed to send it to the apple repair service center to do it. Since they are doing that, i told them to check my flickering screen, misaligned keys, and the "buzz/whine". Hopefully they'll jsut give me a new one. lol
