Assuming you're serious... It would seem you don't understand what life expectancy actually means.
Usually it's the average duration of life following all live births, or "life expectancy at birth". The #1 factor in increasing life expectancy is survival past infancy and childhood. To put it another way, countries with high life expectancies have low infant mortality rates.
ie. If there were a set of twins, and one died at his first birthday and the other survived until 65, their average life would be 33. And yes, it was quite common for someone to live to age 65 even 2500 years ago. Childhood was comparatively tough, but once you got past childhood, your chance of living much, much longer, was very high.
