Hi, perhaps someone can help. I use iCal for reminders to pay bills. Each bill that has to be paid is an event, repeating once a month. Each event is set to pop up an alert 5 days in advance of the due date. I allow the alert to remain on-screen as a reminder, for the duration of those 5 days, until paid. Once paid (or if already paid), then I close the alert.

Here is the problem: once an alert pops up, it seems to block any further alerts from popping up.

For example, say that I have 3 bills to pay (i.e., 3 separate events), on this schedule...

Aug. 16 gas bill
Aug. 17 power bill
Aug. 18 phone bill

Wouldn't you think that by today (Aug. 14) I'd now have three pop-up alerts sitting on my screen - one for each bill? That's what I want, and it seems that the program *ought* to behave that way, but for some reason I never get more than one alert at a time. So I have to keep going into iCal to check things... which kinds of defeats the purpose of setting pop-ups.

Any insight is appreciated. It's iCal 4.0.4 on OS X 10.6.8 on a 2010 iMac.

p.s. Also, i have reviewed the settings for the events in question, to be sure a pop-up IS specified for that event, and it is.
