YouTube - Ron Paul's Message to Supporters

Okay, now your laughter may begin.

Wonder how long before the "dream looney ticket" of Paul/Kucinich is announced?

The more interesting question is 'what exactly is funny about an independent candidate being knocked out?'

I'm not actually a Ron Paul fan, but the idea that the range of possible presidential candidates is so small is depressing, not funny.

Plus all the bias of the media against him, I think he would have fared better if he had been given equal coverage in the media. It was odd to see his popularity in phone polls and everything, but the lack of coverage on the other hand.

I think the Republican race would be more interesting if the votes were divided proportionally amongst the candidates. It's a big bias against smaller candidates.

Ron Paul is a Republican, not an Independent.

"revolutions are long term project".

Not sure I agree with that. The successful ones are generally pretty spontaneous and short, and often violent (although the roots and cause for revolutions have indeed been brewing for longer).

Yes, he is this time - I meant 'non-mainstream'.

Damn, I keep forgetting he's a Republican. I always thought of him as sort of NUTS.

The problem with Ron Paul was the way he is perceived, a lot of his ideas, while unattainable and isolationistic, are good deep down. He is perceived as weak and frail, I suppose rightly so, we need someone like MLK who has a powerful voice behind the message and who can inspire not just millions but hundreds of millions to do what they feel is making a difference.

/and violence, that helps get shi* going.

It was a nice run. Too bad though, he had a good run though the media was biased against him imo.
