I have been contemplating selling my iBook for a few months now, waiting for the new 15" PowerBooks to come out. I think I may have waiting a bit too long, though.
Yesterday, the display started "flickering" a bit and I've read on these forums that that could be the first sign of impending failure of the cables that carry to the video from the logic board to the LCD. This isn't confirmed or even really a problem yet, but I obviously could not in good conscience try to sell this computer now without disclosing the potential problem.
So, any ideas how much I might still be able to get for this iBook? I realise the price will be rather drastically affected by this situation, but I'd still like to get something for it if possible.
It's an iBook 500 MHz, 320 MB RAM, 30 GB hard drive (I upgraded it last year from the 10 GB), CD-ROM, Airport card, Jaguar 10.2.6 loaded.
I'm not really asking for offers, I'm just trying to get an estimate of how much it might be worth...
Thanks all.
