My goal it to reach the 1 million point mark on or before Jan 1, 2007.

I'm currently at 881k.
The stats put me at about 940k on Jan 1 based on current production.

That leaves me to come up with 60k points.
To do that I will need an average increase of 333 points per day if I start now. I also assume that none of my current machines will stop producing.

Since I am not a programmer on their team, the only way I can increase my production is with additional machines.
Phase 1 is in progress as of this week and will hopefully start showing results by next week.
Phase 2 is in the planning stages and is currently awaiting financial data and some new technology. Target introduction is August. This phase also relies on Stanford releasing their updated clients and cores, which is unknown at this time.

This is my stated goal. Hopefully I will make it.

http://teamstats.macnn.com/fold/stat...4001&timelow=0 to see my projected points on Dec 31.
I need to average 550 PPD. I'm currently doing about 375.
FAH reports I'm up to 10 CPUs (not quite true) from 4.

I now have enough production to make my goal. However, the extra boost is only temporary; I don't know how long it will last.

That was more temporary than I would have liked.

I managed to get much of my boost back, over the last month my production has soared. As of today I'm projected to hit 1076000 points on Jan 1. Hopefully it will be enough to cover for when school starts in something like 3 weeks and my production drops.

Best of luck with the F@H effort

How is the Macmini folding??
My dual G4 1.25 broke down again and I had enough and will get a miniMac dual 1.67 later today. Is the minimac faster than the dual G4 in F@H? and if so by how much.

I really could not justify getting a MacPro for my (real) work. I will try to get somee more pentium III and 4 to increase the folding rate. With the current rate it will take a very long time to overtake you

BTW my dual core runs very hot doing F@H CPU is about 80 C and the disk 48 C (that is 175 and 120 F). Is that good in the long run? The G4 had a max tem of 62 C. ( I do understand that they can measure different things in the CPU, like a hotspot or average temp.)

7K left to go. Having resources that you expected to lose months ago is a big boost.
