As far as the thread starter I'll tell you what I'd do: Go paint houses. That's one of the jobs I held in college. I loved it. Got to make $14 an hour and they worked with my schedule. I worked four hours a day, made $60 x 4 a week. That's $1000 a month. Only 4 hour shifts were great. The time flew by, had no one hanging over my shoulder (basically just showed up), we listened to great music, brought our food and beverages along, and we had a good time.
That job sounds awesome Cody.

It's not cheap, but it's where friends and family are. I grew up in the church around the corner, and I want my kids to do the same.

When I was a grad student (aka poor), I was charged the Universal Access fee too. How poor do you have to be to get phone service for free?
