I have an iBook and the OS9 install CD that came with it. I'm setting up my first Yellow Dog Linux machine on a beige G3 and would like to have access to MacOS once in a while. The OS9 install CD refuses to install on the G3. Does anyone know how to get this CD to install? I'm in the process of buying a legit OS9 CD, but really want to get this machine up and running in the next couple days.

Thanks,

It refuses to install because it's a tweaked version for the iBook only. There are many different versions of OS 9 and some are for specific machines only. We see this frequently in the Mac shop I work at.
Why is there always money for war, but none for education?
