I was browsing through available hard drives to replace the 10gig one one my Pismo and I found this:

40 GB 5400 RPM Drive Upgrade

This 40GB drive is a 9.5mm low power laptop drive. It has a 16MB buffer (Wow!), 5400RPM spindle, and is currently the best performing laptop drive on the market. Here is the spec. sheet (PDF) for the TOMK4019GAX. Drive has a one year warranty from Toshiba Note: This drive is compatible with all G3 and G4 laptops.

Does anyone have any knowledge as to this drive? Is it any good? Why is it I haven't ever seen a 16mb buffer before on any other drive, ever?

Thanks!!
