Nokia's new 7280 is certainly something I doubt I would ever buy (I **LOVE** my new 6600 though ) but I think that it's interesting they seem to be aiming it at Mac users, based on this press release:

Using the Nokia Collector, you can transfer your favourite photos, ringtones, wallpapers, music and videos from the Nokia 7280 to and from your Mac.
Read Press Release

Read: Nokia's new phones (Gizmodo)

Actually I have to kind of admit that the new clamshell phone is kinda nice looking.

Nokia's doing some crazy stuff lately, not behaving quite as stupidly as Sony, but still sort of forgetting their roots. That said, the 6630 WILL BE MINE. And after having used it for a week now, I can say the 6600 is really, really well done.

It looks like a lipstick tube. For Mac users...I think not!

The tube is interesting. I could see that being popular, except for that it doesn't have sms features. WTF? But it is interesting that Nokia is going for more clamshells, especially outside of the US where candybar phones are dominant.
If they could come out with something that looked like moto's raz-r but with 6600 functions, I'd buy 2.

Looks like it should be in Star Trek. Nokia has been coming up with interesting unique designs, but I'm not so sure that I would actually want to use them.

Apparently it works with most Bluetooth phones, but I've yet to try it.

The file transfer part works with other bt phones - but the syncing does not. (at least not on my 6600)
