very very nice.

great use of a colour. only quibling i have is the serif font in the menubar and menus, it doesn't seem to fit.

Thank you very much for your comments Roosta.
I agree the font takes getting used to - I particulary like it's relatively small size and take the serif for granted

you know, I've been looking for a freeware font like that. Is there one, and if so, could you point me in the right directions?

1. A desktop is not speech, it is expression (witch, last time I checked was still kind of OK in the US.)

2. These kinds of "expressions" promote the fear machine that has been running all over the precious speech that we would like to call "free."

While I don't subscribe to these kinds of desktops, Makki still has the right to post them here. Granted, he has every right to post naked chicks, extreme socialist views, crappy sports cars, insane-o techie desktops, photos of nature, generally offensive(to some) or generally passive(to others) images with messages in them, propaganda for any political party(religion, sex, race, creed), basically whatever the heck he wants(just as long as it doesn't violate the interpreted rules and regulations of this forum...This is up to the mods, bias or not.)

That said, I have the freedom to say that I think that these kinds of desktops, media, ideals are the very thing that is killing free speech and the American way. Piece by piece. In general, they are indeed crap

Please keep in mind that the above examples contained in the brackets set forth by "()" are not specific examples of content promoted, portrayed, or otherwise expressed by Mr. Makki. They are simply examples of kinds of desktops that I may have seen here on the boards.

btw... just because more people would agree that something is more "ok" than another thing doesn't negate the "freeness" of the less than appealing subject's speech or expression. According the 14th amendment (witch has been liberally interpreted) gives equal coverage of the speech/expression laws. So, if you don't like somebody's neo-socialist desktops, tell them, but there is not much else you can do about it other than that.

my 3.14¢
