I'm looking into getting a small digital camera. Was wondering if someone could tell which of these 2 models would be better. Thanks!
Optio S4 from Pentax
or
EXILIM EX-Z4U from Casio

They are virtually twins (a co-op between the two manufacturers), so go with what feature set difference appeals to you or by price difference. Both are great cameras. Check dpreviews.com and/or steves-digicams.com reviews.

as a recommendation:
i like my sony cybershot U10, fast, very good pic quality (with "just" 1Mpix...) very robust (flighting around in my rucksack), low power consumption, 100% apple compatible.
now available as U20 and U30 (2Mpix/3Mpix... you guessed right )

Actually the U30 is only 2MP also, as is the U40, U50 and U60 which have all been announced (see here)
I have the U20 and can also highly recommend it.
