Move Mac Motherboard to PC case?

Well, either that, or is there anywhere that sells only Mac cases?
I have a G3 Desktop, and I'd like to add more drives, and have a little more space inside.
Anyone else done anything like this? I know the port/PCI card openings in the back are the main problem, do new (unused) PC cases come with the SCSI, ADB, PS/2, etc openings cut out?

The store in New Bedford Ma. (Computer Exchange) has tons of empty cases just lyin' around and i beleive you could get one for like 20$. If you live anywhere near Ma.

I recently put my 6500 in a pc case, (then ended up putting it back) out of boredom this summer. Getting a pc case isn't a problem nor getting one with scsi, usb etc isn't the problem, the problem is getting the ports to line up. I ended up doing some cutting and welding to make some new "holes" essentially my computer looked like it was straight out of mad max. if aesthetics are not an issue with you then by all means do it, but be advised the nice blue and white transparent cool-lookingness of your 'puter will disappear...

Good thinngs to think about, but I have an old beige g3 (desktop model), so I can't go anywhere but up I guess
I guees my main question is this: Do brand-new PC cases have the holes cut out in the back, or can you cut your own? I have a Dremel Tool, so that shouldn't be too darn hard...

odds are slim to find another case with similar port arrangement. if you are set on putting the guts in a new case, consider building from scratch or modifying some other box...i remember seeing a project(macaddict site i think) where a guy put a 7200 in an old (1930's) radio box...looked really cool
also, you migh contact MacresQ, Shreve systems or Sun remarketing for a compatible case

I recently saw some B&W G3 cases for sale on ebay. They were going for about $50. Hope this helps
