Has anyone ever been burned by a rebate?
I have never had a problem, but apparently it's not uncommon for the rebate processor to make-up some fake reason to deny your claim - like you didn't include the proper info with the forms
I was thinking of including a notarized letter that says all of the rebate terms have been complied with along with my rebate submission, just in-case the processor tries to deny it.

I didn't realize this was enough of a concern to care this much.

There's no point in having it notarized, and a letter isn't going to help. Of course you think that you satisfied all of the conditions.

Take a pic / scan your submission in advance, then bitch and moan every couple weeks after the timeline they stated is up. Most places have stopped screwing customers w. rebates (mostly) and best case you get multiple checks 'cause they reissue them... happened to me.

In the last 10 years, I haven't been denied once..
Maybe it's my uncanny ability to follow instructions
