Greetings!

For over a week now whenever I command key--F for the Finder's search panel, right after I just type in two letters the search panel crashes, sometimes even resetting the screen. In addition Spotlight is unresponsive to any search terms I input. I already trashed the spotlight.plist and used Disk Utility and Onyx but nothing works. However both search features work just fine on two other accounts on the same machine.

I'd really appreciate any help!

Thanks for helping!

Maybe force a re-index?

In the spotlght pref pane add your hard drive to the privacy list, then remove it, and it should re-index.
