Hello guys,

A friend of mine uses the city's free wireless Internet service. All she needs to have is an antenna that picks the signal from outside her apartment to the inside. Sadly, the male head from the coaxial cable broke inside the female hub. My question is: can she just cut the male head, cut the plastic part of the cable in order to recreate the male protuberant? I've done this before with the TV's coaxial cable several times, but I want some third-party opinions.

Thanks in advanced,
Hg+
