So, finally, Whitney Houston is leaving Bobby Brown after 14 years (15 years too late)...
CNN.com - Whitney's prerogative: Leaving Bobby Brown - Sep 14, 2006
There are some hilarious theories floating around about the CIA staging this "event" to draw out Osama Bin Laden. It has a slight ring to it, seeing as how it was very recently discovered that Bin Laden has a thing for Whitney. Maybe next the CIA will have Whitney moving to Pakistan...

Agreed. She was so good up until Bobby.

Afghanistan is a huge supplier of opium if I recall correctly. OBL is in country. Looks like a match made in heaven.

I figured that staying this long with Bobby Brown meant that they would be together forever. So much for romaticized MTV...

I'm not blaming Booby (though I could). But Whitney was SO good before he came around. Maybe we just didn't know the REAL Whitney?
I wonder if she'll ever return to that form?

I think Houston corrupted Brown. That's the story I'm sticking to.

Actually, you're partially right. Whitney had this "girl next door" image before Bobby Brown came into the picture, but many people don't know that she was a fairly wild woman. At least one of her brothers was known to be into drugs (either dealing or using, if not both), and were generally unsavory types. Whitney was very accustomed to that type of thing, so Bobby Brown was a Really Nice Guy® in comparison.
I think Osama may be a little too soft for Whitney's tastes.
