DOMA: Any feelings one way or the other?

Curious if anyone had thoughts on the recent decision by the Obama administration to abandon defense of the Defense of Marriage Act. Personally, I will be glad to see DOMA die... the sooner the better. If it weren't for DOMA I'd be living in the U.S. right now.

I'm horrified.
It's the only thing stopping the gays from breaking into my house and doing me in the butt while I sleep.

My general sense is that most people don't care too much either way. I just hope the GOP doesn't feel the need to latch on to this to appeal to the social conservatives. With this economic climate it would probably backfire anyway.

I'd rather the government move the other way and become less involved in marriage rather than involved in more marriages.
