Hi All,

My kids (6 and 9) are spending a lot of time writing to their email penpals (all vetted :-), but the hunt and peck method of typing is of course slowing them down. I'd love for them to learn to type properly.

So, does anybody know of a typing program oriented towards kids?

I have learned typing with "Type!" on the mac classic, black white... was great getting all sentimental .

I think I've got you beat: I learned on a <gasp> typewriter!! (my kids don't even know what that is <sigh>)

That said, I should point out that I'm hoping for some advice on a modern program that makes learning to type more fun than my grumpy high school teacher yelling "e! e! e!" :-)
