No real explanations are given other then recommended fot 2.2/2.4 GHz MacBoo Pro models.
I also searched apple.com and didn't find anyhting.
I'll be waiting for others to try it and/or find out what is being updated but for the braver souls out there. There's a Macbook Pro update to be downloaded
btw, I wasn't sure what forum this should go in. Its an update for MBPs and not necessarily OSX, per se, so I figured it should go in the MBP forum.

My SR 2.2 goes quicker in Cinebench 9.5.
Haven't checked the actual numbers, but the first scenes go definitely quicker and more smoother.
Before the update the first scene in the storage and the grey "city" spinning were not smooth at all, while now they are.
Still, I keep having temperature problems... istat says I get as high as 83celsius while doing the rendering, and the bloody fans kick in veeery late and don't go over 3500-3800.
I wish mine could ran at 70+ under load as others report... am getting a little scared...
