I'm in the market for a new cel phone, and thought the new Sony K700 would do the trick--so I ordered it, received it, and then sent it back.
Why? I discovered that the K700 can't synch properly with Company entries in OS X's Address Book. Any entry that's a Company (ie, not an individual...things like "Apple Computer", "Sony", "Bed and Bath", etc.) shows up in the K700 with some weird periods and commas in place of the company name. You can't see the Company's name, which makes the entry useless!
Apparently, this happens on all of Sony's smaller phones. So I'm still looking for a phone that works properly with iSynch, and am wondering if the Nokias can synch pure Company entries from Address Book. Anyone know?? Any help much appreciated....
If not, I'll probably settle for a P900, but that has its own set of annoyances....

I'd go for a P900 - I loved my p800 - but lost it.
Here's a screenie from the Nokia 6600 I replaced it with.

I have a 6600 and haven't had the problems you mentioned. iSync works fine.

I have a Nokia 6600 also and it syncs ok *most* of the time. A right pain in the arse at others, though. I've taken to switching off my bluetooth k/b when I sync since that was causing problems, but even then I've had problems with it.
Have also heard that the SE phones don't sync all-day events in iCal either.
Nothing perfect out yet that I've heard of. Thinking of a k700 regardless, though.

Thanks for the replies, all. I see that I can get a 3650 or 6600 cheaply from Tmobile, and might spring for one and see how it goes. Being able to synch over ALL my records is real important, and I'm getting tired of Sony's quirks...

Nokia phones aren't without their quirks. I'm going to get the K700 when it's available on my network, so I'd try and have a go with one of those Nokias first if I were you.

I haven't had a problem syncing with my Nokia 3650.
However, groups aren't synced, just the contacts themselves.
